The BONNIE sweater is a classic striped long-sleeve top with dropped shoulders - a versatile piece that pairs well with anything and is perfect for all seasons.

The BONNIE sweater is worked seamlessly top-down. First, the neckline is formed using short rows (worked back and forth), while at the same time, increases for the front and back are worked to the right and left of the shoulders. After that, work is continued in the round, and increases for the sleeves and body are worked. Once the increases are complete, the work is divided, and the body and sleeves are finished separately.

Techniques used: long tail cast-on, backward loop cast-on, German Short Rows, left- and right leaning increases and decreases.

Measurments
Chest circumference:
93 (100) 107 (114) 124 (133) 144 cm / 36.6 (39.4) 42 (45) 49 (52.4) 56.7”

The sweater must have a positive ease of approx. 8 - 12 cm / 3.2 – 4.7” in relation to the body. For larger sizes, slightly less positive ease is recommended. For example, if you have a chest measurement of 95 cm, you should knit size M. With a height of 1.76 m and a chest circumference of 89 cm, I wear this sweater in size S.
