A basic understanding of crochet construction (working in the round, single crochet, and chain stitches) is recommended.

The body is worked in the round as a tube. Openings for the handles are incorporated into the body, and the handles are worked separately and joined. The base is crocheted flat and attached to the body at the end.

The size can be easily adjusted by modifying the number of stitches or rows.

Optional lining and a magnetic button closure are recommended for added structure and durability.
