Book Blossom, of The Bookish Collection by Pendleton Artistry. This hand crocheted, 100% cotton, bookmark is easily made in a 7” size for paperbacks and small books, or an 11” for larger scale books, and may be easily adjusted for any size in between.

The Book Blossom pattern is designed for intermediate crochet artists using about 20 yards of size 4 medium weight yarn with a 4.0 mm hook. The bookmark is best crocheted in a 100% cotton yarn that holds its shape well. The flower and leaves should stand on their own as the stem is held by the book. Starching of just the leaves may help stiffen a softer yarn enough to hold. The featured book blossom was crocheted using “Yarn Bee: Fundamental Cotton” by Hobby Lobby in “Olive” and “White” colorations.
