This cowl reminds me of the narrow streets and apartments in the south end of Boston. The best part about this cowl is how quick and easy this is! It looks like there is stranding but that’s not the case. Every row is knit and there are slip stitches every 3rd and 4th row.

This pattern utilizes 2 different skeins of yarn, about 150 yards from each skein. Choosing a skein with light yarn and a skein with dark yarn will help the design “pop”.

Size is not crucial with this cowl. You can make it longer if you like, or increase the width by adding increments of 4 stitches at a time.

This is a cowl that can easily be knit while watching TV or chatting with friends!
