2020 Advent Calender Shawl - The shawl has been designed to knit up in several colours to form a gradient effect as part of the “Green Tea Yarns 2020 Christmas Advent Reef to Bush Pack”

This shawl is inspiration has been taken from Australia’s beautiful land within and around starting with our surround water full of life to our land with its stunning rainforest wild Bush.

The shawl is made up of an asymmetrical design with several different cable and lace patterns each featured and showcased within their own parts. Each pattern part represents a different feature from the reef to the bush, beautifully complimentary each pattern flows effortlessly from one theme to the next.

Even though the shawl has been designed to knit up in several colours to form a gradient effect as part of the Green Tea Yarns 2020 Christmas Advent it would also look stunning in a solid or tonal design or could also be used as an excellent stash-buster for leftover sock yarn.

The shawl is quite large, perfect to snuggle up under on a cold day. The pattern is suitable for intermediate to advanced knitters familiar with both cable and lace elements as well as beading techniques. The pattern is broken down into daily steps as per the 25 days Christmas Advent theme. While the pattern may look intimidating each pattern part is clearly reflected in its own section for easy to follow instructions. If you would like to join us we have a FB group running
