This cowl is the 3rd pattern of the Bouclettes collection. The motif throughout the collection was inspired by the little curls of the newborn angora goats I met when visiting the farm of Les Belles Bouclettes. I wanted this pattern to be beautiful but also easily achievable by everyone, an ideal small project for yourself or as a gift. This cowl is knit in the round.

Yarn and notions:

Yarn:
Snug fit (small-medium size): 100 g (120 yards) Bulky Weight yarn.
Loose fit (large-extra large size): 150 g (180 yards) Bulky Weight yarn.
Note: if you’d like your cowl longer than suggested, you will need an extra 25-50 g.
Samples in Zephyr (70% kid mohair, 30% Rambouillet), by Les Belles Bouclettes
Colours: Pistachio and Terra Cotta

Needles: 6mm circulars with a 16’’ cable

Other notions: stitch markers, scissors, darning needle

Gauge: 13 sts and 22-23 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Final blocked project size:
Snug fit (small/medium): 18.5 inches circumference (8.5 inches in length)
Loose fit (large/extra large): 22 inches circumference (9.75 inches in length)
