Hiding in a pumpkin can be such fun! Squatting low to avoid being detected Bouncy Benny Scarecrow loves to jump up and scare unsuspecting treat seekers. Velcro on his cap gives him the ability to hide in his pumpkin until prying hands release him to surprise young and old. An internal spring allows him the energy to pop up whenever released.
A throw back to the Jack-in-the-box of days gone by, Bouncy Benny will delight those who pull up his hat to see what is in the pumpkin.
A more difficult project than the previous two Hallowe’en pumpkin projects I offer The assembly of this toy is what will take time and patience. The pattern can also be knit as an ornament without the use of the spring if one finds it hard to locate.
Joining Treats and Trinkets Pumpkin and Poochi;s Hiding Place, this design is ready for you to for October 31st.
