BRANDY BUTTER :: a comfortable beanie-style hat with a folded ribbed brim and gorgeous trimmings. Cast on using a sparkly lurex yarn, and top it off with a large pompom. At the centre is a twisted diamond cable motif, framed by columns of 2x2 rib. The back is worked in plain stocking stitch.

The BRANDY BUTTER design features:

  • Folded ribbed brim
  • Large cable motif
  • Colour blocking
  • Sparkly trim
  • Pompom

This pattern is written for 3 sizes, and includes both written and charted cable directions

Featured Yarn:
This design invites an opportunity for colour-play using Quince & Co. Lark in 3 shades: Aleutian, Audoin and Barolo. This plump, worsted-weight yarn comes in an amazing range of hues and displays cables and texture perfectly. Alternatively, use up existing yarn scraps to create something special using what you already have.

The lurex yarn is 4-ply weight and is used held double, since worsted-weight sparkly yarn can be harder to source.
