The ‘Brazeau’ Cowl is a design dedicated to Haley Brazeau, a fellow knitter and local yarn shop owner.
It’s in Medicine Hat, AB, where you’ll find Haley’s shop, Stitch Yarn Co. and just like all LYS’s, it’s a home away from home. Since moving to Medicine Hat, Haley has been a welcoming collaborator, partner in fiber enthusiasm and best of all, a friend, so this cowl is for her. I hope you like the pattern.

Yarn Used:

  • This cowl is knit using 2 contrasting colours of a Worsted weight yarn.
  • For my cowl, I used Malabrigo Rios in White (MC - 160 yards) and Diana (CC - 115 yards)

Needles:

  • 4.50mm and 5.00mm needles on a 16” cord

Gauge:

  • 20 sts / 4” in Stockinette Stitch

Additional Materials Needed:

  • Stitch Markers (10 total, one unique for BOR)

  • Scissors

  • Darning Needle
