The Breakfast socks set features two different designs for your breakfast choice/socks! Both versions have a similar colourwork motif, which has been slightly adapted for each design.

First are the Avocado Toast socks. These were inspired by a beloved pair of not-so-great quality but fun, avocado socks that my husband owned coupled with my obsession with this fruit as a child. While knitting them up, I realised the motif would also make great looking egg socks too (with a tiny bit of adjustment) and this is where the Eggs on Toast socks were created. Just in time for some fun Easter sock knitting if you wish. So, here we have a couple of options for breakfast. This pattern includes charts for both the avocado and the eggs version, as well as a chart for an easier two-colour version for the avocados. Whichever version you choose, these socks are very fun to make and are slightly addictive, watching those little avocados or eggs growing after every round.

Knit from the top down with a twisted rib cuff, these socks have a no wrap short row heel and a stranded colourwork pattern throughout the leg and foot. The toe is finished by grafting stitches together. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with 23cm (9 inch) circulars or DPNs).
