The Briar Rose Shawl uses one skein of sock yarn combined with one skein of mohair/silk for an elegant textured crescent-shaped shawl, with rows of sweet eyelets and a whimsical picot bind-off. I used the gorgeous moody tonal shades of Union Fibre hand-dyed yarn.

Needles:
4mm/US size 6 circular needle (100-150cm long recommended)

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

Yarn:
Union Fibre Union 4ply (100% merino 4ply/fingering weight)
Union Fibre Mohair Silk Fluff (70% mohair, 30% silk 2ply/laceweight)
Or similar yarns that can achieve gauge

Quantity needed: approx. 820 metres total, 1 skein each
Yarn A (4ply): 400 metres
Yarn B (2ply): 420 metres
Colours Pictured: Bramble (4ply) and Astral (2ply)

Finished Size:
Finished shawl measures approx. 198cm/78in length, and 33cm/13in depth at its widest point
