Briggait Cowl
Named after the Briggait in Glasgow, a venue for the Glasgow School of Yarn. This Grade A listed building was built in Victorian times and used as a fish market for over 100 years. Hence the fish.
There is also a matching Briggait Hat available.
This cowl is knit in the round as a tube and then seamed into a donut shape to give a warm, wind-proof double layered cowl.
It is best knit on a 3.25mm 40cm circular using stranded knitting. The ends are seamed rather than grafted to keep the continuity of the pattern, but if you are happy doing a two colour graft then have at it!
Knit in super soft scottish-spun lambswool, you can make it wider or longer easily, but you will need more yarn.
