Brighter days sweater
The brighter days sweater is worked with a circular yoke. You start by casting on the stitches for the neck and joining in the round, then working increases whilst working the colourwork pattern. We then split for sleeves and work the body in stockinette until around 7cm(3inch) before desired length, work in 2x2 rib and cast off. We then work the sleeves working decreases every 20th row, work in 2x2 rib for the cuff and then cast off. We then pick up stitches for the collar and work a double folded collar. It is designed to have roughly 20cm of positive ease
size guide
The pattern already has the positive ease added into it, so if you have measured a bust of say 80cm the finished garment will measure 100cm at the bust so choose size based on your actual bust size. Ensure to do a gauge swatch first in both colour work and stockinette and block before casting on. Do a gauge swatch for the colourwork with 4.5mm(US7) and the stockinette with 3.75mm(US5)
