The I’m so easy hat is designed for everyone to be able to knit no matter their skill level. The hat is worked bottom up, starting by casting on the stitches for the ribbing, there is an option between a standard long tail bind on, or an Italian bind on, I have made a video tutorial for this. We work a 1x1 rib and then knit in stockinette. After this we work 8 total raglan decrease every other round until we have worked around 10 rows of this and then we work the decreases every round to shape the top of the head, at the end we have 4 or 5 stitches on our needles, we slip these on to the working yarn, break the yarn and pull tight to close the top of the hat. The hat can be worn with the rib folded over, this is how it is worn in the sample pictures, or can be work without folding the rib over which would make the hat longer, there is no extra steps for this but you may want to consider how you will wear it when deciding how long you would like to knit the hat, I will provide instructions for both
lengths.

sizes range from 50cm - 66cm 19.5 - 25 inches head circumference

you will need 50 (50) 100 (100) 100 (100) 150 (150)g or any DK weight yarn
The sample knit is 91m/50g
so this is equivalent to needing 91 (91) 182 (182) 182 (182) 273 (273) meters of a DK weight yarn
