Transforming unpretentious stitches into a spectacular, architectural floral motif, the Britomart Tam is both sturdy and feminine. Combining twisted rib, simple lace, and bobbles with Aran-weight yarn, the tam is oversized and cozy, but still elegant. Named for one of the heroines of Edmund Spenser’s epic poem The Faerie Queene.

Pattern has been tech edited and tested.
