Brockwell Lido Grille
This pattern is for an Afghan square that will be part of the blanket Knitted Up Dulwich Road. Dulwich Road is in south London, and I live locally. The blanket will celebrate the sights and feel of Dulwich Road through the medium of yarn in 49 x 7-inch specially designed knitted squares.
Materials
- Rico Essentials Organic Cotton DK, shade Silver Grey (18)
- 1 pair 3.25mm knitting needles
- 1 cable needle (or 1 small locking stitch holder, see notes in pattern)
Tension 24 stitches & 33 rows = 10 cm
Finished size 18 x 18cm / 7 x 7 inches
This pretty block has some fiddly transitions in the central panel when moving from the travelling stitch into the lace pattern. Follow the instructions exactly as you see them, and take it slowly.
