This pattern really suits luxury yarns which have good lustre or drape to them. You will need two skeins - one in a ‘plain’ colour and another in a varigated or speckled colour. My pattern testers used some beautiful speckled yarns to great effect! I used a variagated rainbow yarn in the pictures in the pattern along with a soft purple / grey colour.

The shawl itself comes in two sizes and you see here the larger of the two. You start by working a crescent shape in stripes of colour and then break the yarn to form ‘wings’ which result in more of a wrap. It is a comforting and very wearable shawl, and deceptively simple to make. I hope you enjoy it!
