These socks are dedicated to Rachael of Wool & Vinyl. Rachael makes the most stunning yarns inspired by music; from old folk to grunge to rock, her colorways have you covered. She primarily works in tonals and wild speckles in bright, saturated colors that just scream to be the stars of their projects. I have knit up so many of her yarns into this same sock pattern, which I’ve knit so often that I feel like a broken record!

These are basic, beginner-friendly socks. They are worked cuff-down, with a heel flap and gusset construction and a wedge toe. I hope that this pattern is approachable for anyone who aspires to knit socks out of those beautiful, irresistible single skeins. These might be just the ticket.
