This is a fun crochet pattern for a cushion cover made using tapestry crochet.

The front of the cushion is made from a patterned central panel with two plain side parts, which are crocheted along the sides of the central panel.

The back of the cushion is made of a single piece in a solid colour.

Each part of the cushion is made with alternating rows of tr and dc stitches.

The pattern includes photos showing how to do tapestry crochet and full written instructions.

It would be suitable for a competent beginner or intermediate crocheter looking to try tapestry crochet for the first time.

For a video tutorial on how to do tapestry crochet, please see this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/sqQxQQ-Szig

The finished cushion cover measures 26 x 46 cm but the pattern contains instructions for adjusting the size to fit a different sized cushion.

The pattern uses DK weight yarn although you could use a thicker or thinner weight if you prefer.

The pattern is available to download in UK terms and contains a table for converting to US terms (very simply!).

Crochet level: competent beginner to intermediate.
