The Brown Eyed Susan Hat is my take on the popular girly over-sized flower hat. The Brown Eyed Susan flower lies on a band of cabled leaves. The main body of the hat could be knit with a bulky yarn if preferred, but the Sterling Silk & Silver yarn adds a nice sparkle to the hat without being too glitzy for everyday wear.

The designer used an entire skein of Lion Brand Cashmere blend- you may need more than one skein depending on how tightly you knit, or if you prefer to bind off in the MC rather than the CC used for the flower. Less than 1/2 skein of each fingering and worsted weight CC yarn was used.
