Bruce is an adorable pug who belongs to my friend. I have a soft spot for pugs, but then, who doesn’t?

This hat features Latvian braids to frame the stranded colour work. The pictured hat used about 25 g of each color of Skeinz Sock Merino yarn. Any sock weight (4ply) yarn will work. It’s a great stash buster.

The pattern has instructions for small to medium and medium to large size. It’s easy to adjust the size of the hat by adding/removing repeats of the 4-stitch base pattern. The base pattern and the pug pattern are fully charted.

Das zweifarbige Einstrickmuster wird von lettischen Zöpfen eingefasst. Die Mütze im Foto hat von jeder Farbe ungefähr 25 g Skeinz Merino Sockenwolle verbraucht. Das ist ein guter Resteverwerter, der mit jeder Sockenwolle gut funktioniert.

Die Anleitung ist für zwei Grössen: klein-medium und medium-gross. Die Grösse der Mütze kann sehr leicht angepasst werden: einfach mehr oder weniger Wiederholungen des 4-maschigen Grundmusters arbeiten. Das Grundmuster und das Mops-Motiv sind in einer Strickschrift wiedergegeben.
