This is a fun hat for winter and is made with Lopi yarn sourced locally from Ballintotas Alpacas. This pattern provides a great texture and also shows off the colours in the yarn. I love putting pompoms on my toques. They add a funky feature and like my mom always said, “It’s not a toque without a pompom!”

Materials
1 Skein Lopi yarn from Ballintotas Alpacas (or a bulky yarn will work as well)
Size 6 double pointed knitting needles
Size 8 double pointed knitting needles
Darning needle
Scissors

Gauge
10 stitches = 2 inches in stocking stitch
