Buddha Hat
In the fall I’ll be fulfilling a lifelong dream in ordaining as a Buddhist monk, so this hat is made as a heartfelt celebration. It features bobbles to represent the spiral coils of Shakyamuni Buddha’s hair in imagery of the Japanese Zen Buddhist tradition.
Crowd-sourcing Pattern Testers and Tech Editors over the years is going great and continues to apply to all my patterns, even the free ones.
First person to complete a Project page here with minimum three clear photos from different angles for this pattern, with no pattern instruction modifications outside of materials used, gets $20 USD via Paypal/Venmo/Zelle/cash and credited as a Pattern Tester / Tech Editor.
Second person to make a finished Project page gets $10 USD.
This means for patterns that have 2+ Project pages (besides mine), this offer does not apply.
When the Project page is complete, simply message me to let me know.
This now is the lowest price this will ever be since I never do sales, and this section will be removed on August 17. Pattern Release Week Pricing:
Fri. August 14: $2
Sat. August 15: $4
Sun. August 16: $6
Mon. August 17 and beyond: $8
While this pattern itself in US crochet terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, feel free to sell finished items made from this pattern. Please do.
Handmade.com and Ebay.com are recommended, no affiliation.
Etsy.com is not recommended as it is widely boycotted in international maker circles with abundant disrespect for #actualmakers since 2018. However if you must, hey, you do whatcha gotta fam.
