This scarf uses the double knitting technique to create a reversible pattern with different insects on it. The bug designs are inspired by real species, including a scarab, praying mantis, stick bug, cicada, and others.

The pattern is written in english and includes charts for the color work and brief descriptions of techniques. Although, I would recommend that you are familiar with double knitting before beginning. The cast on, edge, and bind off methods used can be substituted for whichever methods you prefer.

Finished scarf dimensions: 63” x 5.5”

Materials needed:
DK/light yarn in 2 colors, ~350 yd of each
3.50 mm knitting needles (US 4)
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Stitch markers (optional)
