This pattern produces one wash cloth that is soft, fluffy, open & airy, and thick! It has a beautiful texture and is suitable for either dish cloths or face cloths. Why not make more than one in a variety of colors?

Optional instructions are included for adding a hanger on the cloth, but you can make them either with or without the hanger.

The size is adjustable by altering the number of stitches cast on and number of row repeats completed. As written, the pattern produces a cloth approximately 10 x 10 inches. Depending on your machine, you may get 10x9 or 10x11. Machine tensions differ, but it will be close.

These were machine knit using a Brother KH-260 but you can use any bulky machine with a ribber if you know how to set your specific carriage to tuck stitches on the main bed. You can use a standard gauge with a ribber by doubling the number of stitches cast on and number of rows completed.
