These mittens feature a Bull Terrier on a backdrop of houndstooth patterning. Because they use aran weight yarn, it’s a very speedy knit!

PATTERN INFO
Sizes: 1 and 2

Yarn: 2 colours of aran weight yarn:
MC: 60 (65) grams (about 130 meters)

Exactly how much of each used will depend on if you do the cuff in the main or contrast colour.

Gauge: 25 st x 26 st for 10 cm

Knitting in the round using double pointed needles or the magic loop method.

Managing colourwork floats.
Reading a chart.
Basic increases (knit front and back) and decreases (knit 2 together, knit 2 together through the back loop).
