Written for the avergae adult this pattern is also easily adjustable in length by adding or subtracting multiples of 3 stitches if you prefer a more snug fit or wish to create a larger cowl to wrap around your neck.

Skills used in this pattern include knit and purl stitch, yarn over (YO) and passing stitch over (PSO)

If possible, use a sharply pointed knitting needle. It will be much easier to pass the stitches over.
