Bumps in the Road Socks
This pair of socks is knit cuff-down with a simple knit and purl combination that is great for beginners or those who want a step above vanilla socks. The pattern includes step-by-step instructions along with tips that I have found that help with ensuring my socks fit the best they can.
The pattern is written for Small, Medium, and Large sizes - 56, 64, and 72 stitch counts.
The materials you will need are 100g (or less for shorty socks) of fingering weight yarn, knitting needles in the size you typically use when knitting socks (I use US1.5/2.5mm), a stitch marker, and a tapestry needle.
This pattern has been test knit.
