If you have long hair and sometimes wind it into a bun, this is a decorative cap for it that will just slip onto it, if you choose to crochet a ponytail holder onto it. Otherwise, just use a crochet chain or length of ribbon to tie it on

One size should fit most buns, but you can alter it by using a different weight yarn and hook or by adding another round or two before putting in the ribbon/ponytail holder.
