This is a textured headband. It is wide enough to keep your ears warm and you can still leave long hair loose. It would be a great alternative to a hat for chilly weather. The pattern as written will stretch to fit most adult size heads comfortably. Unless you have a really large head.

One note I did not put in the pattern, please place a marker at the beginning of rounds and move it as you knit.

You’ll need either a sixteen inch circular needle size US 8 for knitting in the round or a pair of US 8 knitting needles for knitting it flat and seaming it up. One skein of yarn will make several headbands
