Every dancer knows the dread of getting your hair and makeup finished, then having to go out into the windy chill of winter for the 3,627th performance of The Nutcracker. You can’t put on a hat without messing up your perfect bun, and there’s no way you have the time to redo it. With this squishy headband, you can keep your ears and head toasty without having to sacrifice your Snow Queen look.
Bonus: This pattern is reversible for a little bit different look!
This pattern is supremely fast and simple, and though it is perfect for a first-time brioche knitter, it does not contain instructions for brioche knitting.

Gauge
5 stitches, unstretched brioche= 1”. Gauge is not vital, just make sure it’s the right size for you. Changes in gauge will result in changes in the amount of yarn used.

Sizing
As this is a simple two-stitch repeat, you can easily adjust this headband to fit just about anyone - so long as your CO is an even number, you’re set. You can also do fewer repeats of the sections so that it is less wide. This pattern is written for an adult.
