The Bunny Bag is a festive accessory to gather treats at Easter egg hunts or a cute handmade to use in lieu of a basket. A combination of simple knit and purl stitches with some cables create a texture that looks like bunnies. As a standard size tote, it can be used to hold anything you traditionally would need a bag for past the Easter season.

Pattern is constructed in flat panels from bottom up, seamed together to make a tote bag shape, and finished with handles.
Double pointed needles are only used to knit handles.

Sample is made using long tail cast-on; however, if you’d like to avoid a little seaming, you might enjoy a provisional cast-on and three-needle bind-off bottom edges together on the right side so seam is exposed.

Sample is seamed using the invisible horizontal and vertical seaming techniques for stockinette on the wrong side so seams are exposed and become an added design element.

You will need 3 skeins of Made with Love The Cottony One in “Lychee White“ or approximately 472 yards of medium weight level 4 yarn
