Bunnies are hopping across this blanket in an offset row pattern. The big bunny tails are knit in the moss pattern for a textured feel. For the beginning knitter, this may be all you wish to do. For the adventurous knitter, a fuzzy white tail can be appliquéd over some or all the tails for a soft, snuggly feel.

In the second half of the pattern, you will be working the design in reverse (upside down) so the paw prints are at the edge of the blanket and the bunnies’ ears pointing toward the center of the blanket. Knitting an upside down pattern is a little disconcerting, but a separate set of instructions and a graph for the upside down pattern is also included. You can of course just repeat the ‘right side up’ pattern instructions at this point if you wish.
