This knitting pattern is for a sleeping bag for stuffed toys (rabbit pictured not included in pattern). I developed it for my daughter who loves playing pretend with her knit dolls.

This sleeping bag is constructed in a flat panel that folds. A flannel backing is sewn to the panel and a knit border joins the folded seam together to create the sleeping pocket. A pillow is knit flat, stuffed and sewn together. The pillow case is knit flat and sewn at the edge to easily slip over the pillow. It can be knit in several colors to create a fun accessory. It is knit to cover the pillow with a little of the pillow sticking out for decorative effect. Finally, a rope is knit to tie around the sleeping bag when it is folded and rolled. Can be used with 10” size dolls or stuffed animals.
