This design was originally part of a kit in collaboration with Crafty That Way in honour of the Year of the Rabbit.
When Kim showed me her beautiful colours and told me the theme of her kit, I knew I wanted a forest rabbit nestled in the undergrowth. And how could I resist adding a whimsical element, the rabbit nibbling on a dandelion.

These mittens are knit with a ribbed cuff to fold into the mitten or to wear under the sleeve for extra warmth, Latvian braid cuff, and an afterthought thumb. This pattern includes directions and charts for 3 sizes 7, 8 (9) inches/17.5 (20, 22.5) cm circumference. Fingering and US1 (2.25mm) needles are used but additional sizes can be achieved by using smaller or larger needles and lighter or heavier sock yarns.
