Bursa Mitts
These mitts are a great stash buster as they use very small amounts of each colour. You can work it up in as many or as few colours you’d like.
The pattern is worked bottom-up in the round with a double fold cuff and Latvian braid.
The mitts are fingerless except for the thumb.
The pattern is intended for DK-weight yarn, i used my own old mountain wool which is 220 meters per 100 grams.
The pattern calls for 100 g of yarn in total for both mitts.
Needles:
For ribbing 3.75 mm/US 5 and for main pattern 4mm/US 6 either DPNs or circular needles for magic loop.
The pattern is very quick and simple to work up and is appropriate for all skill levels.
Bursa mitts are written in one universal size.
