I designed this flower pin for the 2014 National Crochet Month designer blog tour. If you enjoy crocheting pretty, functional items (to use or give as gifts), have lots of buttons and crochet thread, and 1-2 hours of time, this project is perfect for you!

The flower pin can be made with any colors of crochet thread or yarn that you desire. It doesn’t take many yards, so it’s perfect for using up scraps of thread or yarn! The optional edging around the flower petals gives the flower more visual interest.

You can also layer more than one button and use some beads to embellish your Button Flower Pins.

I hope you enjoy creating some fun-to-wear and fun-to-give Button Flower Pins, using your favorite buttons or vintage buttons!
