What a great addition to your Easter decorating! These double thick potholders are quick and easy to make using worsted (#4) weight yarn. They’re worked in rows of single crochet throughout, with increases and decreases along the edges for shaping. Then a single crochet edging is added to smooth the edges and to form the hanging loop. With the use of 100% cotton yarn, these potholders won’t melt (like acrylic yarn will) when removing something hot from the oven.

The pattern includes full written instructions for the multi-colored potholder. A link to my YouTube video for doing an invisible join is also included, as well as my YouTube video to crochet this potholder along with me.

This pattern is great for beginners all the way up to advanced crocheters.

One skein/ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn is plenty to make one potholder. Embroidery is optional.
