The cardigan is worked from the top to the bottom and back and forth in stockinette sts, with a 6 sts cable pattern on each sleeve. A good idea is to transfer all your work to a couple of long circular needles and try it on to check how it fits when you have knitted the yoke. 1 strand of Puf and 2 strands of Kid Seta, are used for this cardigan, a total of 3 strands. The first and last 7 sts on the needle are for the band. It is knitted in rib pattern on each side. There are no button holes, but you can use a shawl pin, or make button holes on in the band. The neckline is folded double. The ease of this sweater is about 10 cm (4 inches). The word Bylgja means wave in Faroese.
