Less of a pattern and more of a guide to how I constructed my throw.
It is worked in the 3-Double Crochet (3DC) Corner-to-Corner (C2C) technique. If you are unfamiliar with the C2C technique, I have included a link to my favorite tutorial with the instructions. If you can chain, DC, and slip stitch, you can make this!

I used two balls of self-striping yarn together for the entirety of the project. This helped soften and “fade” some of the hard color jogs mid-row that self-striping cake yarns are often known for.

If you wish to make the project larger, you WILL need 2 additional cakes!

Gauge is unimportant: but as a guide, each of my C2C clusters is 0.75”

In addition to 8 yarn cakes/balls of Lion Brand Cupcake (I used the colorway Sea Breeze) and a size J (6mm) hook, you will also need a yarn needle to weave in the ends. You may also work your ends in as you go- whatever your preference.
