C2C In the Garden
I designed this pattern for my grandma for Christmas. I knew she would like more of a lap blanket than a full sized one. Unfortunately, she passed on December 9th, and was never able to see it. I keep it in my living room now, I know she would have wanted it that way. Selling the pattern and hoping someone else will get to enjoy the finished product brings me a little bit of peace.
The yarn needed is Big Twist Value:
1 Skein White
1 Skein Black
1 Skein Forrest Green
1 Skein Light Green
4 Skeins Sky Blue
1 Skein Soft Grey
1 Skein Orange
1 Skein Deep Red
1 Skein Medium Rose
1 Skein Chocolate Brown
1 Skein Camel
1 Skein Cream
1 Skein Dark Coral
1 Skein Dark Grey
1 Skein Taupe
1 Skein Varsity Gold
However, if you plan to use a yarn or hook size that differs from what I used, you can calculate the yarn needed. Crochet the first three squares. Do not cut the yarn, but hold your place on the yarn and pull out the squares. Measure what was used and divide by 3. This is the number of inches you will need per square. Multiply this by the number of squares per color (listed below). Divide by 36 to give you the total yardage needed for each color.
