The Cabin Window Sweater is a hand-knit postcard of Lake Tahoe. It was inspired by cozy nights spent admiring the sunset on the lake, through the window of an A-frame cabin. It’s intentionally designed to be customizable: with different yarn colors, the lake view can turn into a meadow, desert, snow, and more. The Cabin Window can always look out onto whatever landscape feels like home.

Sizing

Recommended ease: 11-15” // 27.5-37.5cm
Sizes: 1, 2, (3, 4), 5, 6
To fit bust sizes: 30-34”, 35-39”, (40-44”, 45-49”), 50-54”, 55-59” // 75-85cm, 88-99cm, (100-112cm, 113-124cm), 125-139cm, 140-150cm
Approximate garment bust size: 45.5”, 50.5”, (55.45, 60.25”), 65.25”, 70.25” // 114cm, 126.5cm, (139cm, 150.5cm), 163cm, 175.5cm

Gauge

13st/18rows per 10cm/4” in stockinette stitch with stranded colorwork. Be sure to block your gauge swatch, as the garment may grow after blocking.

Yarn quantity: 950, 1100, (1250, 1400), 1500, 1600 yards // 870, 1005, (1140, 1280), 1370, 1460 meters

1. Accent color: 10% (sample uses Istex’s Alafosslopi in Amber)
2. Line color: 30% (sample uses Istex’s Alafosslopi in Chocolate)
3. Primary sky color: 20% (sample uses Istex’s Alafosslopi in Arctic Exposure)
4. Secondary sky color: 20% (sample uses Istex’s Alafosslopi in Winter Morning)
5. Lake color: 20% (sample uses Istex’s Alafosslopi in Space blue)

Needles: 6mm/US10 and 4.5mm/US7
