The Short Sleeve cable front hoodie is made from the hood down. This leaves few seams to sew and allows you to see the sweater form as you knit. The sweater is knit with 2 strands of yarn throughout. Size 13 needles are used to create the 34 – 36 inch sweater to create a 38 – 40 inch sweater you will use size 15 needles.

The gauge is not extremely important for this sweater however, you do have to have some idea of what yarns you can substitute if Eclipse is not available. The gauge of Eclipse on a size 13 is 3 sts to inch x 4 sts to the row doubled. Any yarn that meets this gauge will work.
