Cable Bolero

A cozy, statement-making bolero with dramatic cables and a sculptural, wraparound shape.

The design is worked from cuff to cuff, beginning with a fitted ribbed sleeve and gradually expanding into bold cables that become larger and more widely spaced as the piece approaches the back. The second sleeve mirrors the first, creating a beautifully balanced silhouette.

The back is worked flat, while the sleeves can be worked in the round using Magic Loop. Instructions are also included for working the bolero with straight needles.

The result is a soft, textured layer that sits comfortably over the shoulders and arms without the bulk of a full sweater. It looks equally good over a simple top, dress or fitted knit.
