The Cabled Trellis Blanket is all about cables! It is cosy and snuggly and looks absolutely stunning. The blanket features simple eyelet pattern on all sides and basic cables in the centre, which give a textured finish.
The blanket is worked in one piece, bottom up, using Aran yarn and 6.00 mm (US 10) circular needle. This pattern can be worked using almost any weight yarn e.g. it could be knitted using finer yarn and smaller needles to make a child’s blanket or chunky yarn and big needles for a teenager’s bedroom. You can make the blanket longer/shorter, working on more or less pattern repeats.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced.
Stitches used: k, p, yo, k2tog, ssk, 2/2 RC, 2/2 LC, 2/2 RPC, 2/2 LPC.
The pattern comes with written instructions and charts.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 1100g Aran (worsted) weight yarn, or any other you love.
NOTE You can use any other substitute yarn as there no need to follow the gauge for this blanket.
• 1 Circular needle 6.00 mm x 100 cm (US 10).
• 1 Tapestry needle.

GAUGE (tension): 14 sts and 18 rows = 10 cm (4 in) measured over Stockinette Stitch, blanket being blocked, using 6.00 mm (US 10) needle. NOTE Gauge is not crucial for this pattern.

MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
130 cm (length) x 150 cm (width) / 51 in (length) x 59 in (width). NOTE Your blanket size depends on your gauge, yarn and needle size.
