The Cabled Trellis Tunic is worked in the round, beginning at the hem. It has bracelet- length sleeves and a boat neckline. The pattern for the tunic is both charted and written instructions.
Using Scheepjes Softfun DK weight yarn (or any other DK), this simple design is knitted combining a few structured Cable and Eyelet stitch patterns. Instructions are given for 4 lengths. You can knit it as a cropped sweater or a mini, knee or calf length tunic.
SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE. MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 15, (18, 22) x 50g balls 2100, (2520, 3080) m or 2297, (2756, 3336) yds using Scheepjes Softfun DK 2514 colour yarn, or alternatively use any DK weight 135 - 140m/148 - 153yds x 50g ball.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage. The yardage is given for calf length tunic.
• 1 Circular needle 3.50mm x 50cm (US 4).
• 1 Circular needle 3.50mm x 80cm (US 4).
• 1 Stitch marker.
• 2 Stitch holders or scrap yarn.
• 1 Tapestry needle.
• 1 Cable needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide- if you get too many stitches on 10cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10cm, take a smaller needle size.

Calf length - 96, (96, 101) cm / 38, (38, 40) ins.
