Learn how to knit the cable stitches without a cable needle!

Welcome to the Cables Made SIMPLE - Potholder KAL. I have designed many patterns with cables and I rarely use a cable needle. Once I discovered how to knit cables without a cable needle, my love of knitting cables intensified. I feel that knitting cables has become quicker and much more efficient. Honestly, it changed a lot of things for the better!

I decided that I wanted to create a knit-a-long to help you learn how to knit these cables without a cable needle. I thought about it for a while, and decided that I would design pot holder patterns using the basic cable stitches. Each potholder will have many cables. When you finish knitting the potholder, you will have used the cable stitch many time over. And we know that repetition helps us learn!

The BEST thing about this KAL is that is is FREE!! You do NOT have to pay anything to join. All you need is yarn and needles. You don’t even need a cable needle!

Within each pattern, I will create a video tutorial to illustrate how to work each of these cables without a cable needle.

Each pattern will be released on a Monday!
