Cactus Scrub Pad
This is a fun and quick pattern. I make these up and give them as gifts along with one of my dishcloths. At first glance at my sink you would think I had a cactus plant by the faucet. Scrubby’s are okay, but the little terra cotta pot makes a great storage option since it has a drain hole and the cactus pattern is soooooo easy. This is a keeper for your Library since you’ll be using this year after year during the holidays/birthdays to give as gifts.
I like using the Scrubby Sparkle yarn since it looks great as a cactus. I use a larger hook “I” so the pad will have good texture for scrubbing the dishes. The pad size is perfect for your hand…not too big/small. I’ve added a yellow flower, but you can add any color flower you like….just make sure it is also the same type yarn!
I picked up the 1 1/2” terra cotta pot/s at the local craft store, or you can order some from Amazon. Don’t go with a larger one, or the you’ll loose the cactus plant look…. Have FUN!
