Caladenia Cowl
Sibling projects to the Caladenia Shawl, the Caladenia Cowls feature the same bobble and lace design elements. Cowl A includes a stranded colourwork motif, inspired by the Australian bush orchids the pattern is named for, while Cowl B skips the stranded colourwork for a simpler
project. Bias shaping means this will sit cosily around the neck and looser at the collar, a lovely
way to wear your knitted creation.
My inspiration for this design is the gorgeous Australian Caladenia also known as the Spider Orchid, of which there are many beautiful variations.
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace, the colourwork is chart only.
