Add gorgeous colour and texture to your decor with a Radvent Pillow, and see if you can stop at just one. Radvent can be knit with 2 contrasting colours, or get adventurous with a multi-colour version. It is perfect for using up all your favourite yarn leftovers or, as I did with mine, a wonderful way to use a mini-skein kit such as the 24-colour Advent kit. Although Radvent is written for DK weight yarn, you could hold fingering weight double to maximise your colour options. Mosaic stitches are worked with a neat i-cord bind off to join both sides and create a tidy edging.

Pattern includes: Both written and charted instructions

MULTI-COLOUR CC OPTIONS
To aid in project planning, you will require 8.75 yd/8 m DK weight yarn or 17.5 yd/16 m fingering weight held double for two CC colour rows—the RS and corresponding WS.

Each pillow side has 49 RS + WS CC rows, a total of 98 CC rows per side, a total of 196 RS + WS CC rows for both sides combined.

The sample pictured used 12 CC on each side for a total of 24 CC.
This was broken down to 4 RS + WS rows (total 8 rows) for 11 colours and 5 RS + WS rows (total 10 rows) for the 12th colour per side.
